It is used to improve the appearance of sun damage, to reduce wrinkles, improve acne or chicken pox scars, and lighten and remove blemishes and pigmentations. Depending on the penetrating power of the chemical product more layers of skin are shed off. The deeper it gets, the more effective it will be but also implies more risk.
